• Type of Questions : The SPHR/PHR Certification Exam consists of 225 Multiple Choice Questions, which must be answered within 4 hours. These questions are randomly generated from a question database which has several hundred questions. There is No Negative Marking. All Questions are Multiple Select Questions i.e. the examinee must choose one from the available four alternatives. The examinee does not need to type even a single word in the question paper.

  Out of 225 questions answered, 25 questions are dummy questions which will not be used for scoring. Please note that dummy questions are selected randomly by the computer and are not known by the candidate when taking the exam - so effectively candidates have to answer all the 225 questions to the best of their ability.

  Out of 225 questions - 25 are not used for scoring, 200 questions are used for scoring for the exam.

• To pass the SPHR/PHR Exam, the candidate must acquire 500 marks out of 700 marks correctly (i.e. pass percentage is 71.4%).
